This notice explains how I handle personal data submitted through the casting application form or related casting correspondence.
What I collect
Depending on what you provide, this may include your name and contact details; date of birth; gender; nationality, residency and location; availability; role or discipline; show and employment experience; application answers; CV, photos and audition materials; video, website and social-media links; correspondence; and casting or review notes.
Why I use it
1. Current application. I use the information to receive, assess and manage your application and to take steps toward a possible professional engagement. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, employment law.
2. Optional casting talent pool. If you select the talent-pool checkbox, I may retain your application and materials for my long-term professional ice-show casting network, match you with suitable future opportunities and contact you personally about them. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Joining is optional and does not affect the current application.
3. Optional email updates. If you select the separate email-updates checkbox, I may send occasional emails about professional ice-show castings and opportunities. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may unsubscribe at any time.
4. Legal, security and accountability purposes. I may keep limited records where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, protect the system, or demonstrate valid consent and withdrawal.
How long I keep it
Active application information is kept while the casting process is active. If an application is closed or unsuccessful and you did not join the talent pool, application data is normally deleted or anonymised within six months, unless a legal reason requires longer storage.
If you join the casting talent pool, the relevant profile and application materials are kept until you withdraw, they are no longer reasonably necessary for the stated professional casting-network purpose, or the pool is discontinued. I review relevance and accuracy at least annually. You do not have to renew consent every 24 months.
Newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Minimal proof of consent, withdrawal and deletion may be retained as necessary for accountability and legal claims, but it will not be used for casting outreach or email updates.
Who may receive it
Data is accessible only where needed for these purposes. Recipients may include Tally for form hosting, Google/Gmail for email handling, the local Casting Desk and secure local storage, and relevant ice-show producers or casting decision-makers for a concrete application or suitable opportunity. Only the minimum information reasonably needed is shared.
No newsletter provider is currently connected. Newsletter opt-ins are initially stored with the application and in the local Casting Desk. Before a provider is connected, this notice will be updated. Only the necessary name, email address and consent evidence will be transferred; full application materials will not be sent to a newsletter provider.
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
Automation
Technical tools, including AI-assisted tools, may help organise, extract or prepare information. They do not make solely automated casting decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Casting decisions remain subject to human review.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to certain processing. You may withdraw talent-pool or email consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. Contact casting@zabatobebe.com.

This notice may be updated when the casting process, service providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the version that applies.
